I was diagnosed by my consultant as having 'unexplained infertilty' so I embarked on 3 unsuccessful IVF cycles. At 38 I was concerned that time was running out. I decided that I needed to take a different approach to getting pregnant so I explored acupuncture. I soon found that the acupuncture was helping me to relax and generally feel less stressed. Each week we talked openly about how I had been feeling and Simon adjusted the treatment accordingly. It was nice to have a friendly, supportive enviornment in which to discuss my concerns, it was amazing how Simon could tell how I was feeling from just listening to my pulse. In fact it was whilst he was doing this that he asked me if I could be pregnant. He advised me to take a pregnancy test immediately. That night I did a test and found I was pregnant! It was the most amazing feeling. Simon was a great support to me during a very difficult time. He even helped me with my terrible morning sickness and my backache when I was 5 months pregnant! I approached Simon at Breathe London for acupuncture and chinese herbal medicine to treat a few problematic areas including intense pain in between my shoulder blades, sciatica and knee issues. After three sessions I'm no longer experiencing pain. As a yoga instructor, I need to use my body to demonstrate poses and remain very active, so it was a huge relief to have these problems dealt with in such an efficient and professional manner. I felt very safe in the hands of Simon, the acupuncturist and confidently recommend Breathe as a haven for healing. |

Simon has been treating me for the past few years and I trust him implicitly to help treat whatever problem I present to him. Several years ago I sustained a traumatic injury to my leg as a passenger in a car accident. The problems with my injured leg are very complex and the injury affects other parts of my body. On one occasion I had a trapped nerve in my left hip and to my astonishment Simon managed to relieve the pain with just one insertion of a needle. He is highly qualified and completely committed to the practice of acupuncture and I could not recommend him more highly. |
