Osteopathy

Osteopathy for injury recovery, improved mobility and pain reduction

Osteopathy is an evidenced-based treatment used to treat a wide range of ailments, including :

  • Sports injuries
  • Back/neck pain
  • Shoulder/arm and wrist injuries
  • Disc and nerve problems
  • Headaches/migraines
  • and Tinnitus/jaw problems, to name a few

What is osteopathy?

Osteopathy is a form of manual medicine. It is an established evidenced-based system of diagnosing and treating muscle, joint, disc problems and soft tissue injuries.

Pain and dysfunction mainly occur because our bodies do not work most efficiently, and this puts a strain on our joints, muscles, tendons, discs and ligaments.

Osteopathy realigns and restores the body's structure and function to a state of balance through gentle articulation/mobilisation (movement of the joints), massage techniques, postural advice/correction, and exercise therapy.

This holistic approach ensures faster recovery and prevents recurrence.
